Elrey T. Ramos, CPA, is a seasoned banking executive and public accounting professional with over 25 years of leadership experience in banking in the Philippines and the United States, including 13 years as President and CEO of a Philippine commercial bank, and more than 10 years in public accounting and financial consultancy.

He is one of the firm’s founding partners, and has secured and maintained the firm’s BOA, SEC, and BIR accreditations. He held numerous independent directorships and audit committee chairmanships in banks, insurance, real estate, and technology companies.

He spearheaded and supervised audit and management services for companies in various industries including real estate, manufacturing, retail, education, trading and non-profit organization.

Mr. Ramos previously led East West Banking Corporation from its inception, overseeing its expansion from a single branch to 74 branches nationwide, growing assets to over ₱35 billion, and steering the bank through major financial and economic crises with sustained profitability.

He is a magna-cum laude graduate of the University of the East, with a degree in Business Administration Major in Accounting and was the Philippine CPA Board Examination Topnotcher 1971 and a U.S. CPA Elijah Watt Sells Awardee, an award given to candidates passing all subjects in one sitting with no grade below 90%, reflecting his strong technical foundation and international credentials.
